Our Sheep Experience and the Nature Walk and Peat Cutting experience are suitable for children of all ages, children under the age of 16 are free but must be accompanied with a paying adult. The Mountain Hike to the Shepherds Hut would not be suitable for small children under the age of 5.

Yes. However, everyone who comes with you must be booked in and have paid.

Outdoor clothing appropriate to the time of year is recommended. Casual outdoor clothing such as walking trousers, light weight trousers etc are great, jeans are not the best if the weather turns wet. Always bring a waterproof coat just in case of wet weather. In the colder months, gloves, hats etc are a good idea and plenty of layers to keep you warm.

Good substantial footwear is very important. Walking boots, wellingtons, strong trainers are the best. You need footwear which supports you and offers you grip, as some of the terrain on the treks is very uneven and can be on occasions very wet and muddy. Fashion boots and plimsolls are not appropriate, neither are sandals or opened toes shoes.

We do not have a direct link to public transport. Taxi service is available from Ballycastle.
