Breen Wood is just beside Dunfin Farm and one of the few remaining Natural Oak woodlands that used to cover the Island of Ireland. The genetic profile of the oak trees in this wood are specific to the woodland and this is the only place left in the world where this genetic type is found. Breen Oak Woodland is managed by Northern Ireland Environment Agency and the paths through the woodland are free of charge to explore.
